The ISICO 2015 aims at facilitating a meeting between academicians, industries, and government to share and discuss any topics relevant to Information Systems, to develop networks, and giving them the chance to publish their work in the conference.  The conference will comprise plenary sessions, track presentations, an exhibition booth and posters on display throughout the conference.

Jae Kyu Lee Prof. Jae Kyu Lee, PhD

Professor Jae Kyu Lee is currently the President and Fellow of Association for Information Systems (AIS), the global organization of 4,000 IS researcher.  He is also the  HHI Chair Professor in the College of Business, and serves as the Head of Graduate School of Green Growth and Director of Bright Internet Research Center at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology).

He has been a Professor of Management Information Systems and Electronic Commerce at KAIST since 1985, and served as Dean of the College of Business during 2006-7.

He received a B.A. in Industrial Engineering from Seoul National University (1973), a M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the KAIST (1975) and a Ph.D. in Operations and Information Systems from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania (1985). He was a visiting professor of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (2000), University of Texas at Austin (1995), Carnegie-Mellon University (1989), and City University of Hong Kong (2001).

He was the founding editor-in-chief of the journal, Electronic Commerce Research and Applications (Elsevier, SSCI and SCIE Accredited), and was the founding chair of the International Conference on Electronic Commerce. During 2005-6, he was appointed as Associate Dean of Faculty and Research, School of Information Systems at Singapore Management University.

Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr.techn. A Min Tjoa

Professor Dr. A Min Tjoa has been a full professor and director of the Institute of Software Technology and Interactive Systems at the Vienna University of Technology since 1994. He is the chairman of the Austrian National Competence Center for Security Research (Competence Centers for Excellent Technologies Initiative of the Austrian government).

He was visiting professor at the Universities of Zurich, Kyushu and Wroclaw (Poland) and at the Technical Universities of Prague and Lausanne (Switzerland). From 1999 to 2003, he was the president of the Austrian Computer Society. He is vice-chairman of the IFIP Technical Committee for Information Systems and chairman of the IFIP Working Group on Enterprise Information Systems. Member of the Board (Senate) of the Christian Doppler Foundation for the establishment of high-technology transfer labs in Austria. He is also the University of Technology’s Coordinator of the ASEA-UNINET (ASEAN-EU University Network) and Vice-Chairman of the DEXA Association (Database and Expert System Applications).

He has served as chairman of several international conferences including the IEEE Int. Conf. on Distributed Computing Systems(ICDCS), European Software Engineering Conference (ESEC), ACM SIGSOFT Symposium on the Foundations of Software Engineering (FSE), the International Conference on Database and Expert Systems Applications (DEXA), the International Conference on Electronic Commerce and Web Technologies (EC-Web). He was Honorary Chairman of the International Conference on Very Large Databases (VLDB 2007). In 2011 he received the honorary doctoral degree (Dr.h.c.) from the Czech Technical University in Prague and the honorary professor degree of the University of Hue (Vietnam). He is currently member of the Council of Doctoral Studies in Mathematics, Informatics and Telecommunication (Conseil de l’ Ecole Doctorate Mathématique, Informatique et Telecommunications de Toulouse) which covers all universities in the Toulouse area.

His current research focus areas are data warehousing, cloud computing, semantic web, security, and non-standard IT-applications. He has published more than 200 peer reviewed articles in journals and conferences

Prof. Shuo-Yan Chou, PhD

Shuo-Yan Chou is a distinguished professor of industrial management, the director of the Center for Internet of Things Innovation (CITI) at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST), and a member in the Investment Review Committee of the National Development Fund of Taiwan. His research interests include technology-enabled services, big data analytics, intelligent system modeling and application, smart logistics, and geometric algorithms. Besides fostering a broad spectrum of R&D and projects, Dr. Chou also runs an MOST-funded IOT University-Industry Consortium and engages in many international cooperation activities, including projects from EU FP7, UK, Germany, China, Japan and Korea.
Dr. Chou has served as the dean of international affairs at NTUST, the national coordinator of the European Union Framework Programme National Contact Point Taiwan Office and the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Chinese Institute of Industrial Engineers published by Taylor and Francis as well as a visiting professor/scholar at MIT Media Lab, ETH (Switzerland), Hanyang University (Korea), Peking University (China), Nagoya University (Japan), Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and University of Washington (USA). He has also served as the general chair for CE2009, 2010 INFORMS Service Science Conference, MCP AP2010, and CE2014 and as the organizer of more than 25 major international events locally or internationally.
Dr. Chou received his BBA in industrial management from National Cheng-Kung University, Taiwan in 1983, his MS and PhD in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan in 1987 and 1992, respectively.
